Legal Status of Individual in pre-Revolutionary Tajikistan

Abstract

The article dwells  on a legal status of an individual in pre-revolutionary Tajikistan. The researches show that man on this historic land was subjected to constant harassments, injustice and exploitation. Into the bargain, scientific materials reflect and acknowledge lawlessues in reference to man  in pre-revolutionary Tajikistan. It is  marked that joining  to Russia put a beginning to the new stage in the history of the Tajik nation. In pursuance with the  treaty  with Russia in 1868 sale with  people was prohibited  on the territory of Bukhara emirate. After the  formation of Turkestan general-governorship on the territory of Middle Asia, alongside with the Moslemic Law and  the elements of common law, there began to  act partially all-Russian law. Rights and freedoms of an individual were determined with such origins as  Koran, Sunna, Kiyat  and others.
