The author`s objective is to show the history of literary Tajik language formation in the 20-ieth – the 30-ieth of the XX-th century. On the basis of archive data there have been analyzed the determining factors of the formation of the Tajik language and its development in Bukhara emirate, People`s Bukharian Republic, Soviet Autonomous Tajik Republic as a part of Uzbekistan and the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic at the beginning of its creation. The author gives a brief description in reference to the state of the Tajik language in the 20-ieth – the 30-ieth of the XX-th century. The activities of the outstanding representatives of educational trends among djadids and young Bukharians are presented with the following names: Akhmad Donish, Kari Rakhmatullokh Vozeh, Saidkhodja Adzhzi, Mirzo Sirodge Khakim, Narzullo Bektosh, Abduvokhid Mounzim, Sadriddin Aini, Abdurauf Fitrat and others. Their role in the creation of newspapers and magazines in Tajik is highlighted. The author touches upon such issues as: minor role of the Tajik language in the 20-ieth – the 30-ieth, formation of pan-Turkism, change of political state; some other problems are connected with the change of a political role of the Tajik language.
