The author considers that it is a fact which plays a key role in theoretical cognition and different researchers propose diverse visions of the fact. However, the principal goal in so far as an exploration of a fact is concerned, is an ascertainment of correlation between fact and theory. The problem of correlation between hypothesis and theory, theory and system, fact and system is moved just in this mode. There are marked the positions of factologists and theoreticians in understanding the essence of correlation between fact and theory; both these and those ones put higher one of the aspects in question; reversed correlation being taken into account too. However, structural approach when structural properties of the fact are singled out also has the drawbacks of its own. The necessity of comprehension of a fact as a system presupposes a use of a systemic approach towards a cognition of a fact that affords to overcome the drawbacks of each of the mentioned approaches aimed at understanding the fact in scientific cognition.
