The article examines the role of mass media in rapprochment of national cultures of Tajikistan Republic residents. The importance of both Russian, Tajik, Uzbek mass media in the formation of interethnic tolerance, moral and aesthetic values between Tajik and other peoples is shown. The author has disclosed and analyzed the aspects of periodical press, state telechannels, broadcastings, electronic site of National Corporation Republican Centre in highlighting of materials and rubriques dedicated to the issues of mother tongue preservation, country`s history, national idea spreading, consolidation of friendship between peoples, upbringing of patriotism and ethnical tolerance, propaganda of good and justice, ideals of humanism and solidarity. Special attention is paid also to translation of literary productions as a means of national cultures rapprochement promoting development of creative collaboration between writers of different peoples.
