The subject of consideration is the importance of organization of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, the objective and subjective reasons for the creation of this socio-political institution and the role of President Emomali Rahmon in this process. It is noted that the study and objective assessment of the history of the origin, formation and activities of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan seems to be one of the important topics for its development by sociologists and political scientists, as it highlights on many aspects of the political, social, ideological and spiritual life of the republic. The role and place of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan in achieving peace and harmony in Tajik society are analyzed, and ways are proposed for further enhancing its role in strengthening the foundations of Tajik statehood, national self-awareness and patriotism.
