KAMOLI KHUJANDI'S POETRY IN THE DICTIONARY "CHAROGHI HIDOYAT" (textological analysis)

Abstract

This article provides a textual analysis of Kamol Khujandi's works cited in Sirojiddin Alikhan Orzu's "Charoghi Khidoyat" dictionary. The aim of the study is to determine the frequency of citations of Kamol's poems and correct distorted beyts in the dictionary. Using theoretical analysis, statistical calculations, and a comparative approach, 24 instances of citation of Kamol Khujandi's works were identified. Errors in the cited bayts are analyzed, and their correct form is proposed. The conclusion clearly outlines the findings. It is noted that over time, the writing style and spelling of individual words have changed, and the textual critics' inattention to this aspect undermines the integrity of the text. It is emphasized that during the process of preparing a text for publication, careful attention must be paid to the semantics and stylistic proportionality of the language. This is essential to ensure that the prepared material is authentic, logically verified, and free from distortion.
