The article presents an analysis of the essay genre in the Narodnaya Gazeta newspaper, a significant Russian-language publication in Tajikistan that, while maintaining historical continuity with the Soviet era, continues to actively participate in the modern media space. Attention is drawn to the importance of this publication as a platform for discussing current social, cultural and economic issues, as well as its role in maintaining connections between the Russian-speaking population and the cultural heritage of the Republic of Tajikistan. The article explores the features of the essay genre in the "Narodnaya Gazeta" newspaper, highlighting its significance for the Russian-speaking community in Tajikistan. It also highlights the genre's artistic and stylistic features, including the use of emotional expressiveness, vivid imagery, and lively dialogue, which contribute to the creation of a dynamic and engaging narrative.
