Avtors

Abstract

The article dwells on the ways of conveyance of Russian verbs with u- prefix having a directive meaning in Tajik. The verbal  prefix u- in modern Russian is polysemantic. For analysis the  author  chose the examples from “Russian-Tajik Dictionary” and from L.N. Tolstoy’s novel “Anna Karenina” (translator - Rakhim Khoshim). The  author pays special attention to those cases in which Russian prefixal verbs have no analogues in Tajik. She states that the  study of  prefixal verbs of Russian is one of the most actual issues of  modern linguistics and the ways of their conveyance into Tajik are necessary when teaching the Russian language  to Tajik-speaking students as this is one of the  most difficult sections in Russian lexicology.
