The article dwells on the place of mysticism in the creation of Khokoni (the XII-th c.). The author of the article makes an endeavor to bring some corrections into the evaluation of Sufi outlook of Khokoni well-known Iranian scientist B. Furuzonfar keeps to. Proceeding from the opinion of the preceptor of Djaloliddin Rumi, the greatest mysticist of the Persian-Tajik literature, whose name was Shams Tabrezi and who appreciated two Khokoni`s beyts higher than the divаn of Sanai Gaznevi, the founder of mysticism in Persian-Tajik literature, the author expounds interesting considerations concerned with the place of mysticism in Khokoni`s creation; hereby, he takes into account Djami`s assessments in “Nafahot-ul-uns” (A Blow of Friendship) and illustrative material from the sharvan poet`s creation as well. He comes to the conclusion that the presence of mystical problems in Khokoni the Shervanian`s creation induces the researchers to treat the issue related to the place of mysticism in his literary productions more profoundly and attentively.
