Abstract

The article dwells on the reclamation of Kamol Khujandi`s creation in Italy. It examines the manuscripts available in the main libraries of Italy: Milan library “Ambrasiana”, Vatican library and those ones described in the catalogues of orientalists I.Hammer, Italo Pizzi and others. An especial place is devoted to the evaluation of Kamol Khujandi`s creation on the part of the scientists of Italy whose points of view are subjected to arguments when necessary. The available translations of the poets` gazels are adduced in combination with their Persian analogues taken from the divan in question. The new data presented by Italian Professor Michele Bernardini are introduced into scientific circulation. The conclusion is made that multitude of manuscripts belonging to Persian poets, Kamol Khujandi`s poems inclusive, are kept in the libraries of Italy.
