The article examines complex adjectives in “Tughluk-name” by Amir Khusraw Dehlavi. It is noted that Khusraw’s use of complex adjectives, in particular in “Tughluk-name”, has not yet become the subject of research. It is emphasized that complex adjectives in “Tughluk-name” serve to more figuratively express the goal, expressively describe positive and negative heroes and characters, as well as phenomena and events. Specific examples show that complex adjectives differ significantly from phrases. Data are provided on the methods of formation of complex adjectives, which are classified according to their morphological composition and analyzed according to semantic features. It is noted that nouns, adjectives, and verb stems are mainly involved in the formation of complex adjectives.
