The article dwells on one of the unique discoveries of the founder of the national Tajik scientific archaeological science, a graduate of the famous scientific tenet of orientalists and archaeologists of Leningrad (St. Petersburg) N. Negmatov being “The Capitol Werewolf” – the symbol of Rome found in Bunjikat (Ustrushana). It is emphasized that the relevant finding is very unique and amazing and has no analogue. About the history of the origin of the legend about the protection and upbringing of a human child by a she-wolf, about the existence of this legend are given in stories, fairy tales, mythology, written and oral literature of the peoples of the East and West. Proceeding from the assumption of the analysis of the research and opinions of academician N. Negmatov it is concluded that the story of Capitol Werewolf in Bunjikat is considered to be a product of mythology, philosophy, art and creativity of the local population - the ancient Ustrusha inhabitants. It is underscored that the story of the Capitol Werewolf feeding children was spread from ancient Iran first among the Etruscans of Asia Minor, later on after their migration to Italy (according to Geradotus) it spread to this country.
