The article, based on various sources and scientific literature, examines and analyzes the history of participation of representatives of traditional musical art of Tajikistan in cultural events, especially concerts, competitions and festivals, in the late twentieth - early twentieth - twenty-first centuries. The study helps to understand the influence and role of singers and musicians in the development of art and culture. The authors of the article tried to pay attention to the chronology of events and participation of artists, the history of important concerts, competitions and festivals, their role in the development of traditional musical art in a certain period. In particular, information was presented on the concert programs of famous performers of the classical genre Boymukhammed Niyazov, Abdujalil Khoshimov, Karim Kosimov, Naimjon Makhkamov, Abdurakhim Shermatov and others. Studying this topic in these deep and comprehensive aspects helps to understand the history of traditional musical art of Tajikistan and is of great importance for the development of cultural policy and the development of art at the local and international levels.
