The article is devoted to the study of the state of modern Tajik
literature in the Fergana Valley. It also examines the sources of
studying this literature in modern literary criticism of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that during the years of independence of the country,
Tajik literature received special development in the Sokh region. It
is emphasized that the poetry of this region is represented by the
names of poets and writers Muhammad Shodi, Ahror
Mahmudzoda, Rakhimberdi Toshmatov, Ravshan Mumin,
Abdulmuhammad Pulodi, Zohir Sulton, Khoshim Khokimpur,
Burkhonjon Rasulov, Hakimjon Mirzokarimov, Abbosjon Khidirov,
Amonjon Farmonov. Among the poets, Nodir Nodiri, Masud
Mirzo, Rasulbek Akhmadzod, Sadriddin received special
recognition. Literary research is carried out by Farkhod
Isomaddinov, Mukaddas Dadoboev, Mirzo Bahraev, Zafarjon
Rakhmat, Masud Mirzo, Parviz Akhmadjonov, journalists
Bakhriddin Tojiddin, Sodikjon Tokhirov, Azam Mavlon, Jahongir
Mirzo, Juma Jamol and others. Among other representatives of
the Fergana Valley, the work of Habib Imodi is considered. The
author of the article comes to the conclusion that during the
years of the country's independence, in particular in the last
decade, there has been an intensive development of Tajik
literature in the region.
