Abstract

This article examines the system of phonetic and phonological terms in the Tajik and Uzbek languages and the role of paradigmatics in regulating them. It emphasizes that the phonetic system is very stable and has undergone few changes compared to other linguistic systems. The article presents the view that the phonetic and phonological systems, as well as the paradigmatic relationship, are the primary factors regulating sounds and phonemes, forming the basis of phonemes, words, and sentences. The paradigmatic relationship between the phonetic and phonological systems also has a profound influence on the sectoral terms of the compared languages. As a result of this influence, a comparative paradigm of linguistic elements emerged, which became a factor in the formation of phonetic and phonological elements. In this context, it is crucial to combine the phonetic and phonological elements of both compared languages and examine their similarities and differences. The example of the system of vowels and consonants shows the improvement of the paradigmatic connection in this system.
