PRAISE AND CRITICISM OF GHANI KASHMIRI'S POETRY

Avtors

Gaffori Z. (Gafarova Z.)

Abstract

The article examines the poetic work of the great Persian-language poet of India of the 17th century Muhammadtagir Ghani Kashmiri, who was one of the outstanding representatives of the Indian style. It is noted that the poet became famous for his mastery in composing mazmunsozi and mani’ofari (i.e. creative searches for new themes and new content). The authors of many literary and historical sources, as well as researchers of his work, praised Gani’s mastery not only in creating new themes, but also in weaving images and displaying fantasy (khayolbandi). The article analyzes the perception of Gani Kashmiri by contemporary and subsequent authors of the textbooks and literary scholars, who praised the new style of his work and appreciated the poet's worthy contribution to the development of Indian style. It is emphasized that Ghani Kashmiri himself repeatedly praised his own poetic mastery and its perfection, especially in the construction of new poetic themes and meanings (maniofari). Along with this, Ghani sometimes engaged in self-criticism in the fact that in his work there are repetitions in the creation of themes (mazmunofari).
