The article analyzes the peculiarities of the use of verb phraseological units in the poetry of Mirzo Tursun-zade. It is noted that the majority of phraseological units in the works of Mirzo Tursun-zade are verbal phraseological units that differ in terms of composition and semantics. There are cases of expressing the concept in a figurative sense with the help of verbal phraseological units, consisting mainly of a noun, sometimes an adjective, and the auxiliary verb kardan. In case of repetition of the nominative component (for example, kuch-kuch kardan), the action expressed by the phraseological unit acquires the meaning of duration and repetition. It is emphasized that if an addition is added to the verbal unit, then the semantic field of the phraseological unit expands and it turns into a qualitatively new expression. In this case, the complement takes the postposition -ro (kucharo khurda kardan - to scuff the street). The oral style of speech allows the poet to use the colloquial version of the postposition -ro, -a (Kur'ona peshi po kardan - to trample the Koran). The verbs kardan, shudan, budan are mainly used as auxiliary verbs.
