Proceeding from the comparative analysis of English, Tajik and Vakhan phraseological units with the somatizm of "heart", the author elicits the peculiarities of expression in regard to the emotional state of love in the language picture of the world perceived by the bearers of the languages in question. In the phraseology of correlated languages they consider such cases as coincidence and absence of a respective phraseological set - phrase in correlated languages, coincidences in contents and divergences in external form.
